Josh Peck has three sons. Rupert Grint introduced a second daughter in 2025. If the names still bring to mind Drake & Josh or the first Harry Potter film, a family photograph can take a moment to catch up with.

This gallery looks back at familiar faces from kids' television and family movies, then follows the parenting milestones they've shared. The original pictures stay in place, including the old baby photos. They aren't a head count of each household today: later arrivals and changes in relationships appear in the text. Some of these performers were children onscreen; others were adults in shows their audience watched growing up.

Josh Peck: A Bigger Family Since Drake & Josh

Max, the baby in Josh Peck's early parenting story, was born in 2018. Peck and Paige O'Brien later welcomed Shai in 2022, then announced a third son, Meyer, in July 2025. Quite a few years separate that first baby announcement from the family today.

On Nickelodeon, Peck had appeared with Drake Bell on The Amanda Show before their stepbrother sitcom Drake & Josh began in 2004. He played Josh Nichols, whose attempts to keep things sensible rarely survived contact with Drake's plans. That's the Josh many viewers still remember.

Tatyana Ali: Ashley Banks Grew Up, Too

Tatyana Ali has two sons with academic Vaughn Rasberry. In a September 2026 interview, she described friends and family helping her manage work and motherhood. She was talking as a working parent, years removed from the youngest Banks daughter's place in the sitcom household.

Ali played Ashley on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, where Will Smith's character moved in with his Bel-Air relatives. Ashley's growing independence and singing were part of her story through the original run. Ali later pursued higher education, then built the family life glimpsed in this older photograph.

KayCee Stroh: Martha's Dancing Days

Martha Cox's secret in High School Musical was that the academically minded student loved hip-hop dancing. KayCee Stroh gave the character her dance moves in the 2006 Disney movie, part of a story about students venturing beyond the labels their classmates had given them.

Stroh is also a mother of two daughters. In a 2026 interview about returning to High School Musical onstage, this time as Ms. Darbus, she described her husband and daughters joining her in the UK. It's a nice twist on the reunion: the former student performer returning to the story in the teacher's role.

Tia Mowry: Beyond Tia Landry

Tia Mowry's children are Cree and Cairo, whom she shares with Cory Hardrict. She and Hardrict divorced in 2023. The later series Tia Mowry: My Next Act follows her life after the marriage, including work and motherhood.

It's a different family story from Sister, Sister. There, Mowry played Tia Landry opposite her twin, Tamera, as girls separated in infancy who find each other as teenagers. Their parents end up sharing a home. Mistaken identities and sisterly disagreements supplied the comedy; the matching faces helped make it a 1990s favorite.

Rupert Grint: After Ron Weasley

In one half of this composite, Rupert Grint is Ron Weasley, wand in hand. In the other, he's wearing a cap and holding a baby. The Harry Potter costume is so familiar that the quieter picture beside it can come as a surprise.

Grint and Georgia Groome welcomed daughter Wednesday in 2020. He introduced their second daughter, Goldie, on Instagram in April 2025. This older photograph came before that announcement. Fans can still watch Ron's first years at Hogwarts, but Grint's life moved on while those early films stayed exactly as they were.

Joe Jonas: Camp Rock and Two Daughters

Joe Jonas played singer Shane Gray in Camp Rock, the Disney Channel movie that paired the Jonas Brothers with Demi Lovato. For viewers who knew him through the band, it was another chance to see him as the young performer at the center of a music-filled summer.

Jonas and Sophie Turner went on to have two daughters. They divorced in 2024. Turner has discussed motherhood in interviews, and Jonas has spoken publicly about parenting, too.

Danielle Fishel: Topanga, Then Motherhood

Topanga Lawrence began as one of the distinctive kids in Boy Meets World and became central to Cory Matthews' story. Danielle Fishel later returned in Girl Meets World, where the former teenage couple were the parents and their daughter's experiences took the lead.

Fishel is a parent offscreen as well. She and Jensen Karp have two sons, Adler and Keaton, born in 2019 and 2021. In interviews and her own podcast conversations, she's talked about raising them alongside her work. Her own children's early years came long after Topanga had become a mother on television.

Daniella Monet: Trina Vega's Other Chapter

Trina Vega could make a scene simply by entering one. Daniella Monet played Tori's older sister in Victorious, with Victoria Justice as Tori. Her Nickelodeon work also included appearances on Zoey 101, giving viewers more than one place to recognize her.

Monet and Andrew Gardner became parents to a son in 2019 and a daughter in 2021, then married in December 2022. They've spoken together about family life in podcast interviews. The family snapshots sit alongside a much earlier image of Monet from her Nickelodeon years.

Daryl Sabara: Juni Cortez, All Grown Up

Spy Kids arrived in cinemas in 2001. Daryl Sabara played Juni Cortez, the younger sibling drawn into the secret-agent world with his sister Carmen. That date matters: the small boy in the film and the adult in the family photo are separated by decades.

Sabara married singer Meghan Trainor in 2018. They welcomed sons Riley and Barry before announcing daughter Mikey in January 2026. Trainor spoke about the new arrival in an interview that month. The original photo of the couple with a baby predates the family becoming a household with three children.

Tiffany Thornton: Remembering Tawni Hart

Source: sonnywithachance.wikia.com

Tiffany Thornton played Tawni Hart on Sonny With a Chance, which aired from 2009 to 2011. Tawni's confidence and competitive streak made her an immediate contrast to Sonny, played by Demi Lovato, within the show's fictional sketch-comedy cast.

Thornton was already an adult during that Disney role, although many viewers knew her through their own childhood viewing. She became a mother of four, announcing the arrival of her fourth child in July 2021. The archive pairs her bright pink Tawni outfit with a family photograph, two very different settings for the performer.

Christy Carlson Romano: Ren Stevens and Kim Possible

Even Stevens built much of its comedy around Ren and Louis Stevens, played by Christy Carlson Romano and Shia LaBeouf. Older brother Donnie completed the trio of Stevens children. Romano also voiced Kim Possible, giving her two especially recognizable Disney roles.

She and writer-producer Brendan Rooney have two daughters. In an interview about her later creative work, Romano described how motherhood overlapped with developing her online shows. Those online conversations gave her another way to revisit the Disney years.

Alexa and Carlos PenaVega: Two Familiar Franchises

Source: Imgur

Alexa Vega played Carmen Cortez opposite Daryl Sabara in Spy Kids. Carlos Pena Jr. became known through Big Time Rush, both the Nickelodeon series and the band. After marrying, they combined their surnames professionally as PenaVega, a name that linked two different sets of childhood viewing memories.

They welcomed Ocean, Kingston and Rio before sharing in April 2024 that their daughter Indy had been stillborn. They spoke about their loss in a joint statement. The retained photograph of Carlos with his family comes from an earlier point in their lives.

Lisa Foiles: Start With All That

Source: popeater.com

All That is the show to look for if you're trying to place Lisa Foiles. She was part of Nickelodeon's sketch-comedy cast, and also appeared on Even Stevens. The archive puts an early screen image beside a baby photograph, with Foiles on both sides of the frame.

She became a mother of two. Her work since those early TV years has included writing, presenting and games coverage, as well as acting. On her website now, music and hosting get space alongside the television credits. The baby photo is one family moment among those years, rather than the end of her public story.

Jamie Lynn Spears: A Decade Between Daughters

Source: Imgur

Zoey 101 gave Jamie Lynn Spears the lead role of Zoey Brooks at the fictional Pacific Coast Academy. Her early Nickelodeon work also included All That. The teenage character is an enduring reference point, even though Spears has returned to Zoey's story as an adult.

Her first daughter, Maddie, was born in 2008. Her second, Ivey, arrived in 2018, after Spears married Jamie Watson. Spears has spoken about both daughters and their cameo in Zoey 102; the film brought her television past and family life together onscreen.

Kevin Jonas: The Eldest Brother Became a Dad

Source: Imgur

Kevin Jonas was the eldest of the three performing Jonas Brothers, with Disney appearances including Camp Rock and the band's Hannah Montana episode. For some viewers, the family also became familiar through Married to Jonas, the reality series featuring Kevin and Danielle.

They're parents to two daughters, Alena and Valentina. In an Entertainment Tonight interview about their children's book, Kevin and Danielle discussed sharing the project with the girls. Those public creative collaborations offer another way to catch up with him beyond the old band timeline. Becoming a parent didn't require the music chapter to stay closed.

Marguerite Moreau: Connie From The Mighty Ducks

Connie from The Mighty Ducks was played by Marguerite Moreau. The 1992 film put her on the youth hockey team at the center of the story, and the old screen image here comes from those early acting years. You may also know her from Wet Hot American Summer.

In July 2015, Moreau and actor Christopher Redman introduced their son Casper. Their representative confirmed the arrival, and they shared photographs publicly. The small baby beside the hockey-era image belongs to that chapter, over two decades after the first Ducks film reached cinemas.

Danielle Panabaker: Disney Movies, Then The Flash

Source: Imgur

Danielle Panabaker starred in Stuck in the Suburbs in 2004, before later becoming familiar as Caitlin Snow and Killer Frost on The Flash. Her later film work also took her into horror, a long way from the Disney comedy's pop-star adventure.

Panabaker and Hayes Robbins became parents in 2020, and she announced a second child's arrival in 2022. She didn't publish the baby's name in that announcement. Her public announcement kept the child's name private, unlike the highly recognizable characters she played onscreen.

Hilary Duff: The Family Has Grown Since This Photo

Source: Imgur

Hilary Duff's early film and television work made her one of the most recognizable faces of the Disney era, particularly as Lizzie McGuire. That character's animated thoughts and everyday school problems remain easy to remember, even for viewers who haven't watched an episode in years.

Duff became a mother to Luca during her marriage to Mike Comrie. She later welcomed Banks, Mae and, in 2024, Townes with Matthew Koma. She is a mother of four. The archive picture belongs to an earlier family chapter, before those later arrivals.

Nathan Kress: Freddie Benson Became a Father

Freddie Benson handled the technical side of Carly's web show on iCarly, with Nathan Kress playing the friend behind the camera. Kress also appeared on Drake & Josh before becoming a regular part of another Nickelodeon favorite.

He and London Elise Kress welcomed two daughters before announcing a son, Lincoln, in June 2023. He is a father of three. The older family photograph predates that third arrival. Kress also returned to Freddie as an adult in the iCarly revival.

Justin Chon: Tony, Not Jordan

Justin Chon played Tony Lee in Just Jordan. He wasn't the show's title character; Jordan Lewis was played by Lil' JJ. Chon later appeared as Eric Yorkie in the Twilight films, which brought his face to a different and much larger movie audience.

He also became a father. In a 2021 interview about Blue Bayou, the film he wrote, directed and starred in, he discussed being a parent and answered a question about his daughter possibly entering entertainment. His work behind the camera makes this more than a before-and-after story about one Nickelodeon character.

Danny Tamberelli: Little Pete's Later Life

Source: repretel.com

Both brothers being named Pete Wrigley was part of the oddball appeal of The Adventures of Pete & Pete. Danny Tamberelli played Little Pete, whose world could turn a neighborhood problem into something wonderfully strange. He later joined the cast of All That, too.

Tamberelli married author Katelyn Detweiler, and they're parents of two children. They've also written novels together as Kate and Danny Tamberelli. Their literary agency's biography includes that shared writing life and their family. The baby photograph captures a quieter family moment than the adventures that made Little Pete familiar.

David Henrie: Justin Russo on Both Sides of Parenthood

Source: Imgur

Justin Russo was a wizard in Wizards of Waverly Place, played by David Henrie alongside Selena Gomez and Jake T. Austin. Describing him simply as a monster hunter misses the family comedy at the center of the series.

Henrie and Maria Cahill welcomed Pia, James and Gemma, whose names they have shared publicly. By his 2025 interviews, he was discussing life with three children alongside his return as an onscreen father in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. He'd crossed that boundary on both sides of the camera, playing the grown-up Justin while raising his own family.

Tamera Mowry-Housley: Another Sister, Sister Parent

Source: Imgur

Tamera Mowry-Housley played Tamera Campbell opposite her twin sister Tia in Sister, Sister. The pair also starred together in Twitches, giving a later audience another reason to recognize them. The matching faces never meant their adult lives had to follow identical paths.

Tamera and Adam Housley have two children, Aden and Ariah. Hallmark's biography records their arrivals in 2012 and 2015. The family photo here shows an earlier stage of those years together. Her acting and hosting work continued beyond the sitcom, including Hallmark projects, so there's plenty between the teenage role and the parent pictured beside it.

Kel Mitchell: Four Children, Two Generations

Source: people.com

Kel Mitchell's television history includes All That and Kenan & Kel, with Kenan Thompson as his frequent comedy partner. On the latter show, Kel Kimble's enthusiasm could turn a straightforward plan into a much bigger mess. The character's love of orange soda became particularly hard to forget.

Mitchell has four children, two from his marriage to Tyisha Hampton and two with Asia Lee. In a first-person interview, he spoke about loving his older and younger children alike. His acting work has continued alongside fatherhood, including a return as Ed in Good Burger 2.

Justin Berfield and Frankie Muniz: Reese and Malcolm Became Parents

Source: purepeople.com

Justin Berfield played Reese in Malcolm in the Middle, while Frankie Muniz played Malcolm, the academically gifted brother. Their characters' household was crowded and chaotic; the actors' own family lives aren't a continuation of that script.

In an April 2026 interview, Berfield spoke about having two children and showing his eldest daughter his work on set. Muniz became a father to son Mauz in 2021. The original composite here focuses on Berfield, so it doesn't illustrate both men becoming parents.

Raven Goodwin: Beyond Tangie Cunningham

Source: Imgur

Raven Goodwin played Tangie Cunningham, Jordan's cousin, in Just Jordan. Viewers may also recognize her from Good Luck Charlie and later dramatic roles. Her career has moved through children's comedy and adult drama rather than stopping with that first familiar character.

Goodwin and Wiley Battle married in 2021, after welcoming their first daughter in 2020. In a 2026 podcast conversation, she discussed becoming a mother of two. That conversation covered the years beyond those first baby pictures. Here, the early sitcom still sits beside an older photograph of her holding a baby.

Jaleel White: Beyond Steve Urkel's Suspenders

Jaleel White as Steve Urkel beside a later photograph carrying his daughter
Source: twitter.com

Jaleel White's Steve Urkel became an essential part of Family Matters, the sitcom that began in 1989. The oversized glasses, suspenders and high-energy entrances are still an instantly recognizable combination. The character's long life in reruns can make White's own timeline feel strangely paused.

White is the father of daughter Samaya and married Nicoletta Ruhl in May 2024. The retained father-and-child image is from an earlier point in that family history. The contrast with Urkel is immediate: the familiar costume on one side, an offscreen moment with his daughter on the other.

Melissa Joan Hart: Sabrina Was Only One Role

Two aunts and a talking cat: for Sabrina the Teenage Witch viewers, that was Melissa Joan Hart's television household. Before Sabrina, she'd already played the title character in Clarissa Explains It All. The two shows introduced her to successive groups of young viewers.

Hart's own household includes three sons, Mason, Braydon and Tucker, with musician Mark Wilkerson. She's spoken in interviews about working while raising them. The old family photograph belongs to those parenting years. And if Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is the version you know, that's a separate adaptation, rather than a continuation of Hart's sitcom.

Anna Chlumsky: From Vada to a Different Kind of Comedy

Anna Chlumsky as Vada in My Girl beside a later wedding photograph with Shaun So
Source: Twitter

Anna Chlumsky played Vada in My Girl, released in 1991, opposite Macaulay Culkin. The film's childhood friendships and losses made her performance especially memorable. Later, Veep gave her a very different part as political aide Amy Brookheimer, whose working world was hardly designed for children.

Chlumsky and Shaun So have two daughters. In interviews about her adult career, she's also discussed motherhood. The wedding photo retained here marks an earlier milestone, in that family story. Vada remains in that 1991 summer whenever the film is replayed; the performer has had decades of life and work since.

Bindi Irwin: A New Generation at Australia Zoo

Source: maria.com.au

Bindi Irwin appeared in her family's wildlife programs before hosting Bindi the Jungle Girl. Animals and conservation were part of her public life from childhood, alongside parents Steve and Terri Irwin. She continued that conservation work after her father's death in 2006.

Bindi married Chandler Powell in 2020, and they welcomed daughter Grace in March 2021. Australia Zoo's own biography describes their continuing family conservation work. The old picture of Bindi holding a baby records the start of that parenting chapter, alongside the much earlier image of her presenting wildlife to an audience.
